“Veni Vidi Vici” “I came; I saw; I conquered” – a famous phrase used by Julius Caesar after he had achieved a quick victory at the Battle of Zella. In this mural French-American artists Lek & Sowat decided to use Caesar’s phrase with a fake typo. “Veni Vidi Vinci” is a reference to the name of a Great artist: Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. Lek & Sowat painted the letters in gold so that it can shine when the sun hits the building with all its power.
The next mural is a vibrant piece by German artist Rafael Gerlach aka Satone. He titled his beautiful work “Waterfall of words” as he was inspired by the melody of the Italian language.
