10th Anniversary Exhibition in L.A.

Corey Helford Gallery is throwing their biggest event ever to mark their 10-year anniversary, when they kick off their 10th Anniversary Gala exhibition–displaying new works from over 100 of the finest American and International artists–on Saturday, August 27th from 7-11pm at 571 S. Anderson St. (Enter on Willow St), Los Angeles, CA 90033.

New Figurative, Neo-Classicists, Pop Surreal, Pop Iconic, Street and Graffiti, Eco-Pop and Fantasy Romanticists — they will all be represented as some of the finest and most sought-after artists help CHG celebrate this milestone with all new works, created specifically for this gala exhibition.

The galleries biggest event by far was “Art From The New World” in 2010 at the Bristol City Museum, where Banksy had held his solo the year before. The exhibition saw over 60,000 visitors in only three months and established the American New Contemporary Art movement in the UK and Europe. But the best part may have been the opening night where Dita Von Teese performed one of her famous burlesque dances in an Edwardian-era British museum. Another highlight was the D*Face exhibition, “Going Nowhere Fast,” where CHG returned the favor and brought a huge UK talent to his proper recognition here in the States. The “Cheat Death” tombstone D*Face, placed on Charlie Sheen’s Walk-of-Fame star, brought a lot of attention.

You can look forward to paintings, graffiti inspired pieces or sculptural works by artists like Marion Peck, Mary Jane Ansell, Chloe Early, Haroshi, Shag (Josh Agle), D*Face, Kinsey, Natalia Fabia, Okuda, Eric Joyner, Olivia (De Berardinis), Ray Caesar, Kazuki Takamatsu, Sage Vaughn, Nicole Gordon, Sarah Emerson, Kukula, Sylvia Ji, Herakut, Handiedan and many more.
