Who is Dr.Love ?
Dr.Love is the pseudonym of a Georgian street artist. He is known for his multi-layer, full color stencils, text-based painted murals and street installations.
His motives are often pop-cultural references put into a humoristic or critical context, but the main purpose of his work is to spread love.
Dr.Love was born in 1985 and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. He started with stencil art in 2010 and was inspired by the Georgian street artist Miro.

Thank you for visiting!
Street art lives in a period of seeming endless growth. What’s getting posted in the street sometimes speaks to me stronger than anything contemporary I find framed or installed in the contemporary sections of contemporary museums. It’s a transformation for me because I always held museums as the standard bearers for what’s great. Anymore, what’s great shows up in public. This isn’t to say I’ll stop going to museums; the branches below us also held some pretty interesting folks.

Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate that you shared such inspiring thoughts. I completely agree, even though I enjoy going to galleries and museums once in a while I am often more impressed by the art that surrounds us in the streets. Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by! 🙂
